Does the software execute trades automatically?
Yes. FSS Trader is an educational tool that demonstrates how systematic strategies execute in live market conditions. Once started, it monitors the market and places bracket orders (entry, stop loss, take profit) automatically through your IB account. You remain in full control and can stop it at any time.
What markets does it support?
FSS Trader currently supports S&P 500 futures contracts through Interactive Brokers. Additional instruments are planned for future releases and will be included in your subscription at no extra cost.
Is my IB account safe?
FSS Trader runs entirely on your local machine and communicates only with IB Gateway on your computer. Your credentials never leave your machine and are never sent to any external server.
Can I use it on a paper trading account?
Yes. IB Gateway supports paper trading mode. Simply set your Gateway port to the paper port, given in your IB Gateway App, instead of the live port in the FSS Trader settings.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your access stops at the end of your current billing period. The app will show the license screen on next launch. You can resubscribe at any time to restore access.
Can I run it on multiple machines?
Each license is tied to one machine. If you need to switch computers, email support and we'll transfer your license.
